I'm orginally from Yorkshire and live in Exeter with my husband, two children and dog called Roo.
My degree was in Fine Art and Philosophy and I taught Art for nine years before discovering an MA in Children's Book Illustration at The Cambridge School of Art.
Doing this wonderful course meant a very very long trip to Cambridge every week and the beginnings of my first book 'Tamlin's Geat Adventure' which is being developed into a Picturebook with 'Access2Book' for visually impaired children and adults.
Last Year I was excited to win an award from 'Voices of Future Generations Children's Book Series' for my illustration for the story "The Visible Girls".
I have recently joined 'Exeter Illustrators' a group of local illustrators, and we have had our first exhibition at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum. I am also also working on a Picturebook and activity trail for the museum.
